More and more people start asking the question why authorities do not implement actions to legalize marijuana. This conflict stems from those who believe marijuana should be legalized everywhere and those that do not think it would be wise to do so. However, this issue is not one of only holds two sides of opinions, but different ideas from the identities of different people. The present essay will address how three very different people feel about the legalization of marijuana—drug dealers, cops, and students. They all have their pros and cons, but the underlying thought here is that they are properly and officially regulated-something that should happen with marijuana, too. It seems that the legalization of marijuana should not frighten people, because at the end, it is a kind of substance like alcohol and tobacco (Drug Policy Alliance). According to the opinion of many experts, it can be said that the legalization of marijuana is associated with many advantages. At the same time, medical research has demonstrated the medical benefits of marijuana, so many people do not see it a problem if it is legalized.
In conclusion, the legalization of marijuana may be a touchy subject for all, but there is a vast selection of reasons for people to embrace on both sides of the argument. Throughout this research, we have seen a cop and student who support medical marijuana and a drug dealer who is on the fence about it. Regardless of whether or not medical marijuana is legalized, it is clear that there will be a controversy with either choice.
